Apple Website for Education IT Managers Apple has introduced a new Web site for IT managers in education that's designed to provide technical resources for integrating MacOS X. "Technical Resources for Integrating Mac OS X" is an interactive site that promises the opportunity to "learn about, and discuss MacOS X installation, deployment, and maintenance in your school." The site offers an IT Info Center that looks at topics such as deployment, MacOS X migration, management, networking, software archives, suggested reading, troubleshooting, Windows integration, and more. "How-to guides" provides instructions on topics as "Setting up basic print services for MacOS X Server," "Provide Windows file services in MacOS X Server," and "Set up basic authentication to an Active Directory Server." Additionally, there's a searchable database for those looking for something specific. The Community section offers threads of discussion on a variety of topics.
